The design of Sigismund Playing Cards is inspired by the history and ambience of the powerful European kingdom which existed for 770 years and now is forgotten by many.
Sigismund was the name of three kings who reigned in that kingdom.
The illustrations on the Court cards resemble real historical figures. I can assure you that these Kings, Queens, and soldiers existed in real life.
